Holmbergs Safety System Holding AB (“Holmbergs”) has signed an agreement to acquire China based Safety Plus Co. Ltd. (“Safety Plus”). Safety Plus focuses on harness systems for Child Safety seats and has been a partner of Holmbergs for more than 10 years. The Holmbergs Group now produces more than 10 million harness systems for Child Safety seats per year and continues to deliver on its mission to save lives and minimize damages during transport and traffic. The acquisition is also in line with Holmbergs’ strategy of strengthening its position in the value chain as well as growing its presence on all worldwide markets.
Safety Plus is a leading manufacturer of high-quality child safety seat harnesses and anchoring systems. Established in 2004, Safety Plus has shown strong year over year growth and continues to invest in best-in-class manufacturing. Now, with more than 200 employees, diverse capabilities and inhouse engineering, SP is positioned to bring continued value to the market.
